NES-1701

NES-1701 was the registry number of a 23rd century Federation starship.

This starship was docked in Spacedock One, along with the USS Excelsior, when the USS Enterprise returned home following the Battle of the Mutara Nebula in 2285. (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock)

This studio model, which was something of a variant to the B-24-CLN type design, was first created in 1977 as a study model for Star Trek: Planet of the Titans. The top of the saucer bore the registry NES-1701.
