DSC-04 was a 32nd century UFP-02-type Federation shuttlecraft operated by Starfleet. This shuttle was assigned to the USS Discovery.
In 3190, Captain Michael Burnham piloted DSC-04 over to Booker's ship when Cleveland Booker would not respond to hails, bringing the vessel face to face with Booker's viewport. (DIS: "Rubicon")
In 3191, Booker was playing a game in this shuttle when Hugh Culber brought dinner, so they could share the meal and have friendly conversation together. (DIS: "Whistlespeak")
