Chorgan was a male Acamarian Gatherer and a member of Clan Lornak.
In 2366, he was the leader of the Gatherers and commanded a small starship.
In the same year, Sovereign Marouk met with Chorgan. She had a proposal in which she offered every Gatherer amnesty and had set aside a region on Acamar III for the group.
With Brull as interlocutor and Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D as mediator, Chorgan and Marouk successfully negotiated an accord, though it was nearly derailed when Marouk's servant, Yuta, attempted to kill Chorgan because of ancient clan rivalries. After being saved by Commander Riker, Chorgan stated that he was in Riker's debt. (TNG: "The Vengeance Factor")
