History[]
The ship's technology dated back to the Burn a century earlier. One ship of this type, the USS Antares, was not equipped with the pathway drive. (DIS: "Red Directive")

The Antares is a CGI kitbash that consisted of the primary hull from the Friendship-class (as originally designed by Daniel Burns [1]) and nacelles from Merian-class starships.
