In the past years, Rakuten (Ebates) has done a great job tracking my purchases. However, between 2022 and now, it's been a hassle getting my cash back and I am beginning to believe it to be intentional especially with large purchases ($1000 or more). I've been a customer since 2011. I feel my patronage is coming to an end.

Rakuten is a great resource for those shopping on line. It is like a savings account! Never have an issue with it as it pops up while shopping. I do have it as an extension on my desk top. A helpful advantage to have! I receive a check quarterly and can track my savings progress on the site.

Great way to earn cash back on everyday shopping!
I am very happy with Rakuten and the money I "earn by shopping" every month - can't beat a deal and cash back!
One thing I would like is when I click on the "activate" button, that the splash page doesn't stick around so long or have an option in settings to deactivate that "cash back activated" pop-up page.

Always strive to use my Rakuten account to earn a percentage back on my online shopping trips whenever possible. Definitely is a no-brainer avenue to use as it's so simple and effective to use on my online purchases. Plus the updated payback options is super convenient & flexible for most anyone. If I ever have an issue with anything, Rakuten support is always in touch with a resolution within 24 hours...super helpful & proficient!

I have been using Rakuten since it was knows as Ebates and I can confidently say it has been an outstanding experience. Rakuten truly offers an easy, seamless, and convenient shopping experience.
I love how easy it is to earn cashback on my purchases, making it feel like I'm getting rewarded for simply doing my regular shopping online. The whole process, from browsing products to making a purchase and finally receiving my cashback, is smooth and hassle-free. Rakuten has definitely become my go-to platform for online shopping, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to save money while getting their hands on great products. 5 out of 5 stars!

Absolutely hands down the easiest way to make money by simply shopping, WIN-WIN...love the BIG CHECK that I receive for simply purchasing from selected stores that Rakuten has listed. It's like getting a discount while I shop. I've been a member since it started and can't believe how EASY it is to use and track. Love Rakuten!!!

I love Rakuten, but there are some "rules" you have to follow that I've figured out after not getting the rebate a few times. You can't click through Rakuten and then spend too much time on the merchant's site and you can't add anything to your cart before clicking through Rakuten. You have to go to the merchant's site, do all your perusing, decide what you want to buy, close the merchant's website, then go to Rakuten and click through to the merchant's website, immediately find what you want and add it to the cart and check out. If you do this out of order, you might not get the rebate. Although I have found Rakuten's customer service to be good about adding the rebate after the fact if you send them the receipt.

Rakuten has made my experience worth while by being attentive to the customer needs. Responding back in an appropriate manner and time. Helping when help is needed and resolving the customer needs. They are not perfect and need a little work in many areas but overall it's been a pleasure to use Rakuten.

I always appreciate getting money back after shopping, and I use them more than any of the other ones out there. My only complaint is with so many of us shopping for ridiculously expensive groceries, why can't you begin to include groceries as well? I will wait patiently!!!

I have used Rakuten for several years. The transaction has an alert page which pops up and tells one how much you will save. I think the discount on most items is fair. I look for stores that take Rakuten for a discount.

Absolutely terrible bait and switch. Credited my account for a purchase and removed it. On 2 major purchases. Won't be using this service anymore, and will make sure everyone I know doesn't use it

It’s always an added bonus to get a rebate from Rakuten when you are going to spend money on buying something. I get so upset when I forget to go thru Rakuten first before I get on a sellers app and buy something cause I calculate home much money I missed out on.

I love shopping with Rakuten. Sometimes I am interrupted during my online shopping by phone calls or tasks that I need to address immediately or even power disruptions (happens a lot in the Florida Keys). Rakuten always reminds me that I left something in my shopping cart.

Shopping using Rakuten is a no brainer. Who doesn't like getting cash back when Shopping. I have never had an issue with any of my purchases and use them for all my online Shopping and getting paid out is easy. If your not using Rakuten you should! They are not like other cash back sites that want you to verify purchases or put a holds on your account after you have earned over a certain amount. Rakuten is legit and I have been using them for a few years.

Rakuten is relatively easy to use and it's hard to argue with cash back.
Pros: Easy to use tools like browser extension and mobile app. Easy to track "shopping trips" and orders.
Cons: Categories can be complicated or vague.

While it took a little time, and Crocs had yet to inform you of the purchase, with my receipt I was able to get the cash back. The individuals who emailed back and forth with me were professional. I did however, initially include the purchase information, they did request it again before add the cash back to my account.

I usually like to leave good reviews, but after thinking about it, I decided to leave this negative review. I am not happy with the extensive follow-up to get my correct cashback posted. It is either given on the wrong amount or never tracked. The follow-up is turning into a part time job. I have been a member for quite some time and never had the issues I have had in the past few years. I am starting to look at other options similar to rakuten.

Rakuten gives prompt notices whenever I have earned cash back rewards from purchases. They also are prompt at providing solutions when I have inquiries or problems.
