Saks Fifth Avenue is doubling down on its luxury personal shopping and styling service, The Fifth Avenue Club. One year after its launch as a standalone concept, the Club has seen high client engagement and is planning to open additional standalone locations this year to bring its total to 20.

The Fifth Avenue Club began in Saks Fifth Avenue stores, such as its Beverly Hills flagship, offering loyal customers high-touch service and personalized experiences. Due to its success, it has evolved and expanded into a standalone model within private suites at hotels and resorts across the U.S. At these locations, customers can participate in detailed consultations with stylists based on their unique fashion needs and preferences. Following these in-depth conversations, stylists provide detailed recommendations from the entire Saks Fifth Avenue inventory pool, including Saks.com and Saks Fifth Avenue stores.

The newest Fifth Avenue Club location opened earlier this month in Austin, Tex. Additional clubs are scheduled to open throughout the summer, including at The Bowie House in Fort Worth, Tex.; Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif; and The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club in St. Petersburg, Fla. Saks tapped existing customer insights to identify key markets for expansion and has established relationships with some key partners, such as luxury operator Marriott International as well as luxury brands like The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis Hotels & Resorts to support the Club’s expansion.

“The success of our standalone Fifth Avenue Club suites illustrates that luxury clients are increasingly seeking one-on-one fashion expertise tailored just for them,” said Larry Bruce, President of Saks Fifth Avenue stores in a statement. “Since the introduction of this concept last year, we are proud to have cultivated a new, engaged client base and a skilled stylist team that delivers one-of-a-kind personal shopping and styling tailored to the unique lifestyles of our customers within each community. We look forward to continued expansion of the highly personalized service and the expertly curated luxury assortment that Saks is known for to even more clients across the U.S.”
