What to expect
Hawaii’s in-person Democratic caucuses will run from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern time. Only registered Democrats may participate, though same-day registration and party enrollment will be offered.
An option to vote “uncommitted” will appear on the ballot. In Tuesday’s primary in Minnesota, about 19 percent of Democrats voted “uncommitted” as part of a protest of President Biden’s policies toward Israel and the war in Gaza.
