Time Paradox Ghostwriter Wiki:Image Policy

This is the Image Policy for the Time Paradox Ghostwriter wiki. The following article contains information regarding guidelines for uploading images. These rules are subject to change without prior notice.

Acceptable Images

• Images related to the series and taken directly from the author, publisher or any other official source.
• Manga panels should be uploaded with no text in speech bubbles. If there is text outside of a speech bubble that would need to be redrawn, the raw (Japanese) version must be used.
  • Only the text outside of a speech bubble in a raw version shouldn't be erased. The text inside a speech bubble must still be erased.
  • Preferably, avoid using manga panels or images from MANGA Plus, as there is a noticeable quality drop on these images when compared to the raws. If such an image is uploaded, it should be replaced with the raw version on sight.
• Only .gif or .png file extensions. This is the standard requirement for the wiki system, and many file extension types (such as .BMP) are not uploadable.

Unacceptable Images

• Images unrelated to Time Paradox Ghostwriter or its authors.
• Collages.
• Fanart of any form, for any reason.
  • This includes fan-colored manga panels.
• Images with improper filenames.
• Files in any other format other than .png or .gif.
• Images with watermarks.
  • The exception is if it is an official watermark.
• Images with potential spoilers until the official chapter/volume is released.
• Images for your profile should not be uploaded to the wiki. Please upload them to another image sharing site and import them here.
• Nudity and any other kind of image that shows explicit scenes, even if it is from an official source, according to FANDOM's Terms of Use.
• Duplicate images.
  • If you find a duplicate image, please mark it with {{Delete}} in the file summary and include the filename of the duplicated image.
• Fake images (e.g. manga panels that were fan-created to look canon).
• Images that you do not then use on an article.

Failure to abide by the 'Acceptable Images' policy will result in the image(s) being deleted. In extreme cases (eg. breaking FANDOM's Terms of Use via image upload), a temporary or permanent block from the wiki may be necessary.

Uploading Images

When you upload an image to this wiki, please provide the minimum necessary information:

• Descriptive filename: Files should be named to outline key elements that occur in the image and should always have the chapter they were taken from in their name (written as "CH#" and placed at the end).
  • Examples of some good filenames are:
    • Teppei catches the balloon CH1.png
    • Teppei's apartment CH3.png
    • The assistants congratulate Teppei CH5.png
    • Itsuki Aino CH7.png
  • Examples of some bad filenames are:
    • Tumblr inline mpw7tvUe3c1qz4rgp.png
    • Screenshot 2020-06-08 at 5.10.01 PM.png
    • Best girl Itsuki CH2.png
    • Teppei.png
  • If there is an image that has potential to be used but is improperly named, please add the {{Rename}} template to its file summary.
  • Please simply name all chapter covers "Chapter #".
• Licensing: The Fairuse template should be added to every image you upload that is from an official source. It can be added by selecting 'Fair use' in the dropdown licensing menu below where the file is renamed, by writing {{Fairuse}} in the upload summary, or by manually editing {{Fairuse}} onto the file page.
• Categorization: Please add the appropriate chapter/volume and character categories to images you upload. This can be done by writing "[[Category:Example Images]]" in the upload summary or on the file page after it has been uploaded. These categories should include which characters are in the image, and which chapter you took the image from.

Please add uploaded images to each respective image gallery of the character(s) in the images after you upload them. This keeps them organized & accessible and prevents duplicates from being uploaded.

Consequences

Images that do not follow the 'Acceptable Image' policy will be removed or replaced. If an individual is found to have continuously violated the image policy, they will be given a single warning. If the same individual continues to disobey the policy, the user will potentially receive either a temporary or permanent block from the wiki, depending on the extent of the violation.
