The Stinkbug is a Critter that spawns in the daytime in the Forest with grass. They can be used to craft the Flymeal, as well as the Stinkbug Blockers which prevent NPCs from moving into a particular Home.

• Despite Stinkbugs releasing a foul smell in real life, the Stinkbug is not used in the creation of a Stink Potion. The Stinkfish is used to craft the Stink Potion and is its only current use.

Trivia[]

• Real life stinkbugs make a chemical reaction when disturbed that smells like a "pungent odor like cilantro."[1] Since the in-game stinkbug is used to craft the Flymeal, which inflicts the Stinky debuff, one can reasonably assume that the Stinky debuff emits this same smell.
