Protected Audience API (PAAPI) is part of the Privacy Sandbox initiative, a project designed to enhance online privacy while ensuring advertisers can still target users with personalized ads. PAAPI has the following advantages in the face of a cookieless future: 1️⃣ Privacy-friendly by design—reducing privacy concerns associated with third-party cookies addresses user objections and regulatory restrictions, making future solutions more secure. 2️⃣ Ad personalization and bid evaluation are preserved—RTB House’s proposals ensure retargeting continues with PAAPI. 3️⃣ Enhanced control over how ads are delivered—the system gives publishers better control over displayed ads, reducing malicious advertising risks and improving ad quality.
