The Netherrealm Cliffs are a dangerous location within the Netherrealm. It is also a location in Mortal Kombat Armageddon's Konquest mode, and is an unlockable arena allowing you to select it in versus mode.

The Cliffs was a large fiery mountain with lava flowing down its surface. It was a required travel if one wished to reach Shinnok's Spire. This mountain was subject to numerous meteor impacts from large fireballs that crashed and wounded anyone that was near the impact region. Numerous gates were present which denied entry further down the cliffs but by manipulating the pressure plates, a traveller was capable of opening them. At the foot of the cliffs were lakes of lava. These giant rocky platforms at the cliffs were floating because they were forever suspended by the concetrated dark magical powers of the fallen Elder God Shinnok, the supreme master of the Netherrealm.
The Netherrealm Cliffs are the largest arena in the game, with no death traps or destructible features.
Taven was teleported here by Caro, to search for his brother Daegon. There, he was forced to travel down the Cliffs while fighting the Undead and even the Oni Tormentor, Drahmin in order to reach Shinnok.
