Kharon's Ship is an arena that debuted in Mortal Kombat 11. It is located in the Netherrealm and is used to ferry damned souls across the Sea of Blood.
Overview[]
The main area of the ship that serves as the stage arena is the deck, which is filled with dozens of large barrels that glow green and are filled with dozens of souls, the occasional cannon, torture cages filled with skeletons and lit torches lining the far wall of the captain's deck and the mast. The backdrop features more ships in Kharon's fleet sailing alongside this vessel, while high waves from the Sea of Blood will occasionally splash onto the deck.
Kharon's Ship is where the final battle between the revenant Netherrealm Emperor Liu Kang and the past incarnation of the thunder God Raiden takes place, and is where the Fire God Liu Kang makes his debut after Raiden chooses to pass his divine power to Liu Kang.
Interactions[]
Kharon's Ship features three arena interactions. From farthest left to right they are:
- The far wall lined with skulls can be jumped off of to escape the corner.
- A hanging cage with a skeleton inside can be thrown at the opponent.
- A rope that can grabbed to drop a barrel full of souls atop the opponent.
Trivia[]
- In Johnny Cage's announcer voice he says "Iceberg right ahead" which was a reference to the 1997 film Titanic.
