Osaka Castle (大坂城 or 大阪城,   Ōsaka-jō^?) is a pagoda in Osaka, Japan. It was built in the late 1500s, and was in use far into the 19th Century. It was gradually rebuilt after it was damaged by a fire in the 1800s, with the keep being restored in 1928, and restorations finishing in 1997. It first appeared in Godzilla Raids Again.

With the once-beautiful city of Osaka now in ruins, Godzilla and Anguirus fight around the partly-restored castle, and Godzilla slams Anguirus into the castle's keep, demolishing it with little effort. Anguirus, severely injured atop the ruins of the keep, tried desperately to fight back, but was killed after Godzilla bit into his neck with his jaws, then burnt the corpse with a blast of his Atomic Breath. Anguirus' lifeless body toppled off the remains of the Castle, and into the Okawa River.
