Mechagodzilla City was a location that was introduced in the 2018 Godzilla film, Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, and briefly reappeared in Godzilla: The Planet Eater.
It served as the staging area for a retaliatory strike against Godzilla Earth, with the enormous, multi-kilometer city being shifted into a deathtrap by its Bilusaludo caretakers.
Following the failure in killing Godzilla, and its subsequent destruction by the gigantic kaiju, the city was sunken, and melted under extreme heat, with those who inhabited it abandoning it.

Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle[]
Mechagodzilla City was discovered following a duo of Servum's failed attack on the expedition group, consisting of Haruo Sakaki and his allies. The group was astonished at the facility's size, which had increased over the 20,000 year timespan since they'd last been near it, and was chalked up to nanometal and its assimilating properties.
Following Godzilla Earth's recovery from the barrage of weaponry and the nanometal pool it was submerged in, it would unleash multiple blasts of atomic breath over the city skyline, destroying what remained of the nanometallic city.
Godzilla: The Planet Eater[]
Following the destruction of the city, Martin Lazzari and another member of the battalion still stationed on Earth would be seen sitting outside the city's ruins, monitoring Godzilla, who had begun to slumber and heal itself in the crater left behind by the nanometal. Seeing that Godzilla was resting, and debating on the creature's origins, the two left shortly after.
Martin later noted that gaining any information or resources from the location was impossible, as it had been further eroded by Godzilla's intense heat, to the point of being nearly unrecognizable, with the city's large, spherical buildings being barely visible.
