The Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile is a famous landmark in Paris, France. It was built to commemorate the victory of France over Russia in the early-1800s. The Arc de Triomphe is featured in the 1968 Godzilla film, Destroy All Monsters.

The Counter-Kaiju Reaction Forces deployed Kiryu to stop Baragon. After a fierce battle, Kiryu subdued Baragon and airlifted him to the Monster Islands.

- Originally, Baragon was to attack Paris and destroy the Arc de Triomphe in Destroy All Monsters, but his suit was too badly damaged from overuse as other kaiju in Tsuburaya Productions' Ultra series and he was replaced with GOrosaurus. As a result, Gorosaurus gains Baragon's burrowing ability and is even referred to as "Baragon" in that scene of the film. The fact that Baragon himself destroys the Arc de Triomphe in Godzilla: Rulers of Earth is likely a nod to this.
