Whitney Guss (born 14 February 1966; age 58) is an actress who worked as stand-in for Gates McFadden on Star Trek Nemesis. She received no credit for this work but is listed on the call sheets.

Guss is the daughter of fellow actress Jacquelyn Guss and Robert Guss. She has been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 1988 and also worked as model for print ads and magazines. [1]

In 2007, Guss worked as actress, second assistant director, and casting director on the independent crime movie ... Just a Job starring Lauren Mary Kim and featuring her mother, her father, and her brother Chad Guss. Other acting work includes featured roles in episodes of 24 (2001, with Leslie Hope, Penny Johnson, John Cothran, Jr., James G. MacDonald, Zach Grenier, Glenn Morshower, and directed by Winrich Kolbe), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2003, starring Paul Guilfoyle, with Joel McKinnon Miller; and 2014, starring Wallace Langham), and The Mentalist (2009, with Elizabeth Dennehy and Marco Sanchez and 2013, directed by Robert Duncan McNeill).

She appeared as a reporter in Good Advice (2001, with Estelle Harris, John de Lancie, David Doty, Vanessa Branch, Jonathan Breck, and Gary Combs). As stand-in, Guss worked on Tremors 4: The Legend Begins (2004, with John Dixon and Don Ruffin).
