Visions and illusions
(covers information from a vision or illusion)

White was a Human/Humanoid racial classification associated with a "white" or otherwise light skin color. Individuals described as such were white people or whites.

The white civilization of Yangs on Omega IV was destroyed by biological war. (TOS: "The Omega Glory")

In 2374, Captain Benjamin Sisko fell under the influence of visions from the Prophets and Pah-wraiths. During an illusory 1953, Douglas Pabst stated that the publisher of the Incredible Tales of Scientific Wonder magazine decided to run a picture of the magazine's writers in the next month's issue. Benny Russell was one of the writers not included because according to Pabst "as far as our readers are concerned, Benny Russell is as white as they are. Let's just keep it that way."

Jimmy was dismissive of Russell writing "stories about a bunch of white people living on the Moon." Russell indicated that he was instead writing "about us", which Jimmy interpreted as colored people on the Moon.

Pabst later stated that he loved Albert Macklin's story, as Macklin wasn't interested in negroes or whites and instead wrote about robots. Pabst told Russell to either burn his own story or stick it in a drawer for however long it would take for the Human race to become color blind. Pabst would not print Russell's story unless he made the negro captain Benjamin Sisko a white person. (DS9: "Far Beyond the Stars")
