Favorite characters: everyone.
- I must say that the Voyager crew is my favorite crew in all of Star Trek. They are a bunch of good, likable, kind, diverse, multi-faceted people - all with their own little quirks and idiosyncrasies; they are real. Their relationships to one another are also more authentic, more genuine, with more depth. It is almost like they have been real friends for years. Could anyone be sweeter, more awkward and nerdier than Harry Kim or more hilarious than The Doctor or more likable than Neelix? Even though after The Original Series, characters in the Star Trek universe, especially in TNG, have been more developed and acquired more depth instead of being mere caricatures, I think no series has managed to make their characters more realistic and layered as Voyager.

Favorite character: Jonathan Archer - hands down, Malcolm Reed, Trip, Shran, Phlox (so almost everyone)
Deep Space 9[]
The more I watch DS9, the more I realize what a brilliant show it is. And I also realize that this it. They will never be able to top that again - not with a Star Wars fan-boy in the form of JJ Abrams and writers who apparently only seem to have watched The Wrath of Khan and read Memory Alpha in charge of Star Trek, effectively turning it into Dreck as they leave their Star Wars-signature shitty everything all over this franchise. The newest unintelligent throw up ride filled with two dimensional archetypes exchanging moronic dialogues and a plot that, despite all the reboot hype, adds absolutely nothing to the world of Star Trek other than incoherent plots and lens flares and annoying "characters" reciting Star Trek jargon to give a tiny bit of semblance to Star Trek, sealed Star Trek's doom, in my opinion. No, it buried it. Very sad. But that is what you get when you put the marketing department and MBAs in charge: they dumb everything down to the lowest common denominator so that everyone who knows nothing about anything can enjoy it and call it a day. It's a good thing Roddenberry is not here to see the travesty that's been made out of Star Trek since Abrams took over.
