The University of Betazed was a university on the planet Betazed.
Deanna Troi attended the University of Betazed during the 2350s, where she studied psychology. Tam Elbrun was, for a time, one of her patients. (TNG: "Tin Man") It was around this time she met William T. Riker, who was assigned as a junior officer to Betazed, who later described young Troi as "a very serious psychologist." (TNG: "Ménage à Troi")
In or prior to 2367, this university published documents which listed the environmental conditions and analyzed the religious structures for excavated sites on the planet Tagus III. (TNG: "Qpid")
Information on this university's research is from an Okudagram titled, Tagus III Archaeological Notes, which was perused by Captain Jean-Luc Picard in 2367.
