A torch on an assignment patch

A torch was comprised of a stick with one end covered in a combustible substance or compound. Set on fire, it could provide light for travel or vision.

The chambers and catacombs of the Vulcan monasteries at P'Jem and T'Karath were equipped with torches. (ENT: "The Andorian Incident", "Awakening")
