Tokyopop

Tokyopop is a publisher, licensor, and distributor of anime (Japanese animation) videos and manga (Japanese comics) books. They produce volumes of manga based on several Japanese and US licenses, including various Nickelodeon and Disney properties.

They published Star Trek: The Manga, a multi-volume collection of TOS-based stories, the first of which was released in the United States in September 2006. A second TOS volume published in September 2007 included a story written by Wil Wheaton.[1] A third volume followed in July 2008 and included another story from Wheaton and one by David Gerrold. An omnibus edition, collecting these three volumes, Star Trek Ultimate Edition, was published in March 2009.

Tokypop published a TNG-based manga in April 2009
