Tim Tommasino is an editor who worked as assistant editor on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Tommasino also worked as assistant editor on Terminal Entry (1988, with Lisa De Moraes), the television series Freddy's Nightmares (1988-1990), A Woman Named Jackie (1991), Patriot Games (1992, film editing by William Hoy), the drama Bopha! (1993, with negative cutter Theresa Repola Mohammed), and Clear and Present Danger (1994).

His credits as editor include the television comedy It Nearly Wasn't Christmas (1989), episodes of Freddy's Nightmares (1989) and Earth 2 (1994), the television movies Another Midnight Run and Midnight Runaround (both 1994 and starring Christopher McDonald), the television thriller Bloodhounds II (1996, starring Corbin Bernsen), the television thriller The Lottery (1996), the television drama The Ticket (1997), and the television series Players (1997), ER (1998-2008), Mental (2009), Past Life (2010), Memphis Beat (2010), United States of Tara (2011), and The Lying Game (2011-2012).

In 2002, Tommasino worked as director on the action film In Your Face (with music by Dennis McCarthy) and in 2008 he wrote and directed the short comedy Just a Slice.
