PADD with Temporal Edict text
The Temporal Edict was a ship-wide mandate implemented aboard the USS Cerritos in 2380. It was issued by Captain Carol Freeman after she took note of the large number of slackers aboard the ship, which was compounded by explanation of "buffer time", in detail, from Ensign Brad Boimler.
The issuance read: "Effective immediately, the Lower Deck scheduling deceit will no longer be tolerated. All assignments will be completed and logged in exactly the time mandated by command. Failure to meet quotas will not be tolerated."
The edict was eventually nullified in favor of the newly mandated Boimler Effect. (LD: "Temporal Edict")
