Trekcore

Usage[]

This template is used to link to the TrekCore website entries. A variable is required giving the end path to the article in question, and a second variable can be used to alter the linking text.

If no initial variable is given, the link will go to the main TrekCore webpage, such as:

{{trekcore}}

Which would produce:

TrekCore

To link to an article, for example the iconic Star Trek sounds, you would have a template call as such:

{{trekcore|audio}}

This will produce:

[1]

If text is desired, such as "Iconic Star Trek Sounds", the following format should be used:

{{trekcore|audio|Iconic ''Star Trek'' Sounds}}

This will produce:

Iconic Star Trek Sounds

If you wish the link to be formatted as an external link on the "soundtrack" page, the following format should be used:

{{trekcore|audio||external}}

This will produce:

Soundtrack at TrekCore

If you wish the external link to display different text, the following format should be used:

{{trekcore|audio|Iconic ''Star Trek'' Sounds|external}}

This will produce:

Iconic Star Trek Sounds at TrekCore

An "s" parameter can be passed to change the subdomain from the general "www" to the series, blog, or gaming domains. For example, the Blu-ray screencaps for the TOS episode "The City on the Edge of Forever" could be linked to like so:

{{trekcore|s=tos|gallery/thumbnails.php?album{{=}}212|"The City on the Edge of Forever" Blu-ray screencaps|external}}

This would produce:

"The City on the Edge of Forever" Blu-ray screencaps at TrekCore

Or the blog for Star Trek: Picard beginning the filming of season two:

{{trekcore|s=blog|2021/02/star-trek-picard-heads-into-season-2-production|''Picard'' season 2|external}}

This would produce:

Picard season 2 at TrekCore
