Usage[]

This template is used to link to pages on StarTrek.com.

URLs containing unencoded equal signs (=) will break this template. To fix this, you will have to encode all equal signs using {{=}}.

The abbreviation "st.com" can be used in the template instead of the full "startrek.com" designation.

If no variables are given, the link will go to the StarTrek.com homepage.

This produces:

StarTrek.com, the official Star Trek website

To specify a different location on the website, add a parameter.

{{startrek.com|series-and-movies}}

This produces:

[1]

To customize the link text, add a second parameter.

{{startrek.com|series-and-movies|Series & Movies}}

This produces:

Series & Movies

To format as an external link, add |external as the third parameter.

{{startrek.com|series-and-movies|Series & Movies|external}}

This produces:

Series & Movies at StarTrek.com

To indicate that the web page being hyperlinked no longer exists, add |bl=1.

To link to a specific archived version of the web page being hyperlinked, add |archivedate=<timestamp>, where <timestamp> is a complete timestamp of the form YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.
