Centurion Tarent was a male Romulan who served in the Romulan military during the 24th century.
In 2399, Tarent was assigned to the Artifact under Tal Shiar Colonel Narissa. During her interrogation of Hugh, he executed one of the xBs in an effort to make him talk. (PIC: "Nepenthe")
After Hugh's death, Tarent reported to Narissa that they had located Elnor, though they failed to capture him due to the intervention of Seven of Nine. As Seven began activating the Artifact and the Borg drones still in stasis onboard, Narissa ordered Tarent to jettison the drones into space. Shortly afterward, Tarent was supervising the Romulan evacuation from the Artifact when he was ambushed and his neck snapped by xBs under Seven's control. (PIC: "Broken Pieces")
