Box sets[]

While not 100% official, it seem pretty darn certain that there is a European release of the same 3 boxed sets America is getting, but all 3 are due out May 13, 2009 in Europe. The inital leak about there being Blu-ray sets in the first place a few months ago came from European sources. Have any of our European contributors seen press releases? This is the source of the information first discovered in January: http://www.release.no/artikkel.asp?ID=5546

Amazon.co.uk and Play.com already have preorders for the movie collection and TOS season 1 (release date stated as April 27), as well as the individual releases of II, III, IV and VI (release date stated as May 11). Nothing on the trilogy collection just yet. I plan to update things at the weekend (there are a few new R2 DVD releases also on their way that I need to add details on). -- Michael Warren | Talk 18:40, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Great! I was going through the TOS-R page at TrekMovie.com and updating release information and realized I didn't know much about other regions other then the old rumor. Also is there a way to add the new Region codes for Blu-ray when adding a release information to its page? I don't see a way --Mdw 20:30, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

STXI single disc[]

Here's a UK one[1], although released on 1 Nov 2010. Here's the US version[2] and the CA version[3] on 19 October 2010. -- sulfur 21:17, May 15, 2011 (UTC)

Blu-ray disc Reverse Cover images for galleries?[]

I've been using blu-ray.com for a lot of the updates to the images I've been uploading. Many of them also have back covers I'm thinking would be nice to have as part of the image gallery for the respective release it's for. For information, ward of bootleg versions, and to see the UPC/EAN. Might be too much or possibly a different section on the pages. Sidebar video template could have an added section titled coverback for uploading the image of the back cover. Example: https://www.blu-ray.com/images/movies/covers/4189_back.jpg -- AdmiralNoodles (talk) 07:06, 24 September 2021 (UTC)

I do not mind the inclusion of the backcovers (provided they are clearly legible), and in effect lean toward favoring it, as backcovers contain info often not included in the sidebars (covers such as these even have my preference, but that is just my opinion)...There actually is in this regard no perceivable difference with book backcovers, IMHO...Sennim (talk) 08:59, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
I have no real issue, but they shouldn't be in the sidebar. The sidebar is already long enough. They could be used in galleries further down the page. Remember that the majority of our readers come in via mobile devices and we don't want them scrolling for 25 minutes just to get to the article. -- Sulfur (talk) 13:00, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
I agree the reverse covers should be in a gallery. Properly named, of course. -- AdmiralNoodles (talk) 21:27, 1 October 2021 (UTC)
Added a lot of Region A USA back covers to multiple Blu-ray disc releases in image galleries. Majority of them are listed prior to the contents of the release and others are included/rearranged with already existing galleries. Some of the images are low resolution though. -- AdmiralNoodles (talk) 22:00, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
