Steven Rodney Bernstein is a composer and orchestrator who worked as additional music composer and orchestrator on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Bernstein's work as composer includes several animated television series and films including A Flintstones Christmas Carol (1994), Taz-Mania (1992-1995), Freakazoid! (1996-1997), Pinky and the Brain (1995-1998), Histeria! (1998), and Animaniacs (1993-1998), the specials Baby Looney Tunes: Eggs-traordinary Adventure (2003) and Tom and Jerry Blast Off to Mars! (2005), the television series Baby Looney Tunes (2002-2005) and Make Way for Noddy (2001-2006), and the short films Song of David (2007) and Never Gonna Give You Up (2011). This work earned him eleven Daytime Emmy Award nominations in the category Outstanding Music Direction and Composition between 1994 and 2006 of which he won five. On the last seven he was nominated alongside his wife, composer Julie Bernstein. In 2000 he also received two Annie Award nominations in the category Outstanding Individual Achievement for Music in an Animated Television Production for his work on Histeria! and Wakko's Wish.

As conductor and orchestrator, Bernstein received credit for his work on L.A. Story (1991), D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994), Phantoms (1998), Supernova (2000), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), the television special L.A. Law: The Movie (2002), Windtalkers (2004), The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008), The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), and Skyfall (2012).
