In a deleted scene from the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "Up The Long Ladder", Starbase 114 was the destination of the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D after reuniting the two colonies of Bringloid V and Mariposa in 2365.
This scene in which the starbase was referred came from one of two deleted scenes from this episode that were available on the TNG Season 2 Blu-ray.
