Background information[]
- According to Marrone, the "nose art" on the Defiant-class featured in the January spread was intended to show off the "fun paint option" created for Star Trek Online. [1]
- The cutaway technifold of the Defiant by the Cushman brothers had, in effect, been shelved for over two decades as it had been intended as a 2000 outing in the cutaway poster series from their previous employer SciPubTech, but which was cancelled before the poster was completed. It was only now for this calendar outing that the Cushman team was afforded an opportunity to finish up on their project. [2]
