Solum-1 was a holoprogram created by the Diviner to simulate the planet Solum both before and after its destruction in the Vau N'Akat civil war. (PRO: "A Moral Star, Part 2")

In 2383, the Diviner uploaded Solum-1 to the USS Protostar's holodeck in order to show his daughter Gwyndala their species' history and the importance of their mission. This led to a confrontation in which the Diviner was driven insane by being exposed to Zero's true form and Gwyn temporarily lost her memory. (PRO: "A Moral Star, Part 2")

After regaining her memories, Gwyn had the holodeck show the Protostar crew a recording of her visit with the Diviner to Solum-1 and what her father had revealed about the living construct. (PRO: "Let Sleeping Borg Lie")

Gwyn later used the star clusters visible in Solum-1 to pinpoint her homeworld's location, (PRO: "Supernova, Part 2") successfully reaching it months later. (PRO: "Into the Breach, Part II")
