Shuttle 06 was a Federation Protostar type shuttlecraft that was manufactured by a vehicle replicator aboard the USS Protostar in 2384. It was a replacement for the earlier Shuttle 06.
Due to the urgency of its construction during the attack by the living construct, most features beyond basic life support (including the navigational computer and seats) were omitted.
A month later, Shuttle 06 and its crew were rescued from San Francisco Bay. (PRO: "Supernova, Part 2")
