Alternate reality
The ship's log of USS Enterprise was used to record events occurring on the Enterprise in the alternate reality.
Following Spock's emotional outburst in 2258, (which had been provoked by James T. Kirk following the death of Amanda Grayson and the Destruction of Vulcan, as per Spock Prime's orders), Spock asked that the time and date of his relinquishing command be noted in the ship's log. (Star Trek)
