Samanthan Rutherford was a hypothetical mirror universe version of Ensign Sam Rutherford depicted in the Mirror Universe Encounter holoprogram.
In 2381, when a drill administrator named Shari yn Yem was putting the crew of the USS Cerritos through a training drill in simulator holopods, Ensign Beckett Mariner found herself playing the role of an officer who had taken the place of her Terran counterpart.
In the program, Rutherford served aboard the ISS Cerritos. Mariner observed him having a conversation with Andy Billups about how they enjoyed torturing people. (LD: "I, Excretus")
