The Regulus III Science Academy (R3SA) was a university on Regulus III that specialized in the sciences. It had the reputation of being a good school.
In 2371, Mardah was accepted to the Science Academy, and she left Deep Space 9 and her boyfriend Jake Sisko. (DS9: "Fascination")
According to Dahj Asha's records, she was an alumna of the Academy; her transcripts from R3SA helped make her a "perfect candidate" for a research fellowship at the Daystrom Institute. However, this appeared to be a fabrication, as there was no direct record of her attendance. (PIC: "Maps and Legends")
