Rebecca Wisocky (born 12 November 1971; age 52) is an American actress who played Ramdha in the Star Trek: Picard first season episodes "The End is the Beginning", "Absolute Candor", and "Broken Pieces".
Wisocky made her big screen debut in the 2000 romantic comedy It Had to be You, with Olivia d'Abo. Wisocky's next role was not until 2006's Funny Money, with Christopher McDonald. Wisocky joined Patrick Fischler and Armin Shimerman in 2011's Atlas Shrugged: Part 1, and followed up with the 2015 independent film Hello, My Name is Doris aside Don Stark. For 2018, Wisocky lent her voice to her first animated film, Ralph Breaks the Internet, with Bill Hader. Wisocky's latest project is 2020's Blonde, costarring Spencer Garrett, Tim Ransom, and Time Winters.
Wisocky made her small screen debut on HBO's Sex & the City, starring Kim Cattrall and Willie Garson in the third season "Frenemies" (2000). In 2006, Wisocky returned to HBO on The Sopranos, starring Steven R. Schirripa in the sixth season "Moe 'n Joe". That same year, Wisocky appeared on CBS' NCIS with Derek Webster and Without a Trace, starring Enrique Murciano, joining Jane Daly, John de Lancie, and Tracy Middendorf. In 2007, Wisocky remained with CBS, first guesting on Medium, executive produced by René Echevarria, and with Kelsey Grammer. Next Wisocky was in the fourth season episode of Cold Case", executive-produced by Roxann Dawson and also boasting Ellen Albertini Dow, Zach Grenier, and Carolyn McCormick, and then Ugly Betty starring Alan Dale and Vanessa Williams, with John Cho. During 2009, Wisocky was on the short-lived sitcom Samantha Who?, starring Tim Russ, in "The Amazing Racist", before appearing on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starring Paul Guilfoyle, Wallace Langham, and Liz Vassey in the tenth season "Appendicitement". In the following decade, Wisocky returned to HBO in the vampire drama True Blood starring Kristin van Straten in "She's Not There", with William Schallert and Clay Wilcox. Credits for 2012 include the cable drama Longmire in "The Dark Road" with Maury Sterling. 2013 saw Wisocky on Major Crimes starring Raymond Cruz in "All In" with future costar Jonathan Del Arco. Wisocky next appeared on Castle, starring Penny Johnson, and with Voyager guest Tom Wright, and on Once Upon a Time starring Jennifer Morrison in "Shattered Sight", with Lee Arenberg. Wisocky's next guest role was on FOX's 911 starring Aisha Hinds, in "Trapped", aside Abby Brammell, Frank Collison, Tim de Zarn, Mariette Hartley, and Marco Sanchez. That year concluded for Wisocky on NCIS: New Orleans starring Scott Bakula and Necar Zadegan in "Sheepdogs". Again on CBS, Wisocky was seen on the legal drama All Rise in "Devotees in the Courthouse of Love", with Robert Clendenin. Next was The Purge starring Connor Trinneer in "House of Mirrors", finishing out the decade. For the decade that followed, Wisocky appeard on FOX's medical drama The Resident, starring Bruce Greenwood.
Wisocky played several characters in the Law & Order franchise, first on Law & Order, (2003, with Carolyn McCormick), and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2006, with Felecia M. Bell).
Wisocky was cast as Millie Holm on Saving Grace starring Leon Rippy, first showing up in "Looks Like a Lesbian Attack to Me" with Larry Cedar and Becky Wahlstrom and "Am I Gonna Die Today?" with Benito Martinez and Robert Pine, both in 2009. Up next was as high school principal Nowack on The CW's 90210 in the third season with her first sightings in 2010 in "Catch Me If You Cannon" directed by James L. Conway and "I See London, I See France" with Tom Virtue, and the 2011 season finale "To The Future!" with John Billingsley. At the same time, Wisocky was cast as Emma Smith on HBO's Big Love, working with Gregory Itzin in each appearance, first in "The Oath" with Daniel Roebuck and Cristine Rose, and with Itzin only in "Where Men & Mountains Meet". While Wisocky made a triple episode run as Lorraine Harvey on FX's American Horror Story, it was only in "Afterbirth" where she worked with another Trek actor, Lisa Vidal. Wisocky's most prolific recurring part was that of Brenda Shettrick on CBS's The Mentalist executive produced by Peter Lauritson beginning in the second season in 2010, beginning in "Bleeding Heart", with Sharon Lawrence and Vyto Ruginis. In the third season, Wisocky made the rounds in "Ball of Fire", "Red Alert", "The Red Mile" with Ethan Phillips, and the season finale "Strawberries & Cream". Wisocky was away from the show completely during the fourth season, but returned in the fifth, first in 2012's "Cherry Picked" with Michael Shamus Wiles, in 2013's "Little Red Corvette", and finally in "Red & Itchy" directed by David Paymer and also featuring Dennis Cockrum.
For series creator Marc Cherry, Wisocky would play different roles in his most famous franchise. First on Desperate Housewives (2012, starring Steven Culp, Teri Hatcher, Brenda Strong and Vanessa Williams), before being cast as Evelyn Powell on the Lifetime Network spinoff Devious Maids(2013-16) where in the first season Wisocky would costar with film actor Stephen Collins who portrayed murderous millionaire Philippe Delatour. as well as Brett Cullen as Micheal Stappord and Melinda Page Hamilton as Ukrainian housekeeper Odessa Burakov. Hamilton would leave after the first season along with Cullen who would later return in the third, while Collins was written out at the end of the first as his character would be arrested for his crimes.
