Prologue, previously Prologue Films, is a company of designers and filmmakers that was founded in 2003 by Kyle and Kimberley Cooper.

The company, based in Venice, California, specializes in mixing live action with typography and graphic design and has done title sequences for a number of films and television shows.

They had their first encounter with Star Trek by doing the opening title sequences for Star Trek Beyond, and that was followed up by their work on the Star Trek: Discovery opening title sequences and then the title sequence for Star Trek: Picard. Members of the company that worked on the title sequences for the second season version garnered an Emmy Award nomination for their work.

Other work they have done includes sequences for Rogue One, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Rango, X-Men: First Class, Robin Hood, American Horror Story, and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. They have also done visual effects shots for films such as Prometheus, Battleship, and TRON: Legacy.
