Main → 2018 Newest article section[]
I was thinking that it might be a nice idea to have a panel/section on the newest created article in the wiki on the front page (or similarly the last five articles created or something like that). Not only would it serve to generate interest in (and ultimately edits to) these new articles but with more and more new articles being created thanks to Star Trek: Discovery it would also make sense. - Possible? Yes. Practical and actually visible, not really. The page is already longer than the average screen height, and with ads our content is already well below the middle line in the bottom half of the screen. The only space available is going to be on the third screen down. The page is also currently balanced, so adding anything will require something to go, and I'm not counting the DIS panel, which is temporary. Then there is the problem of the page being heavily cached. This also duplicates what the twitter feed does, so a simple link to that would suffice. - Archduk3 14:37, January 29, 2018 (UTC)

FA section displaying old AotW[]
I have just noticed that the Featured Article section on the main page is displaying "Self-sealing stem bolt" from the old Article of the Week list. Is this an error in that blurbs from the old AotW list are being pulled up instead of from the new FA list? --| TrekFan Open a channel 00:45, April 1, 2018 (UTC)
