Murphy C. Wiltz (3 November 1935 – 10 November 2005; age 70) worked in the camera and electrical department on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek: The Next Generation. For the latter he received no credit but is listed on several call sheets. The planets Beta Wiltz III (standard definition) and Epsilon Wiltz IV (high definition) in the episode "Inheritance" and the Starfleet Lieutenant Murphy Wiltz in the episode "Violations" and VOY: "Parturition" were named after him.
Wiltz also worked in the camera and electrical department of Walking Tall: Final Chapter (1977), 48 Hrs. (1982), Clue (1985), The Golden Child (1986, with Greg Luntzel), Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987), and She's Having a Baby (1988, with Waverly Smothers).
