Morgo was an ancient sentient volcano on Dulaine. He served as one of the three co-leaders of the planet in the late 24th century, alongside Mendrick and 355.
Known as "Volcanic Lord" and "Navel of the Planet", Morgo was worshiped as a god by the Dulainians and formed the center of their religion. Those who sinned against the Dulainian faith were sacrificed by being thrown into the molten lava within Morgo's crater.
In 2381, Lieutenant Commander Andy Billups and Ensign Sam Rutherford from the USS Cerritos were to be sacrificed to Morgo for the offense of entering a sacred hall with covered belly buttons. During the proceedings, Morgo confirmed to Commander Jack Ransom that health was the Dulainians' highest calling, to which Ransom responded by revealing his muscled physique. Impressed by Ransom's perfect "lava tubes", he and his co-leaders agreed to listen to his parley. (LD: "The Least Dangerous Game")
