Michael Childers (11 November 194429 December 2022; age 78) was a photographer and occasional actor who played Lawrence Strode in the Star Trek: Enterprise third season episode "Carpenter Street".

Childers was born in North Carolina, and moved to California in 1962, at the age of 18. He graduated from UCLA Film School and is mainly a photographer for magazines, theater productions, film posters, and books. He shot covers for magazines such as GQ, Esquire, Elle, and Vogue and shows his work in various galleries and exhibitions. His work also includes photographs and portraits of many stars such as Catherine Deneuve, Clint Eastwood, Richard Gere, Dustin Hoffman, Ben Kingsley, Laurence Olivier, Demi Moore, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bryan Singer, Mae West, Natalie Wood, and Billy Wilder.

His acting resume includes the films Hider in the House (1989, with Michael McKean, Martin Goslins, and Peter Henry Schroeder) and Les Superficiales (2002) and guest appearances in The X-Files (2000, with Tracy Middendorf and Randy Oglesby), ER (2000, with Ed Lauter), and Six Feet Under (2002, with Joel Brooks, Ed O'Ross, Wilda Taylor, Amy Wieczorek, Bruce Wright, Joanna Cassidy, and Robert Foxworth).

Childers was also a producer, still photographer, second unit director, and production assistant for films such as The Falcon and the Snowman (1985) and The Believers (1987).
