Michael Chan is an actor who played a Federation Headquarters Ops Officer in the Star Trek: Discovery fourth season episodes "All In" and "Coming Home".
Chan graduated from Human biology and sociology at the University of Toronto and began acting in student film productions during his studies. After graduation, he enrolled at the Toronto Film School. Since 2011, he appeared in about three dozen acting roles, mostly in short films and on television.
He appeared in smaller guest roles in episodes of series such as Covert Affairs (with Mimi Kuzyk), Mayday, The Hardy Boys (with Sadie Munroe, Sima Sepehri, and Milton Barnes, directed by Melanie Scrofano), Blood & Treasure (with James Callis and Andreas Apergis), The Love Club (with Nck Name), and Gray (with Shawn Doyle).
He can also be seen in the TV movie Angel Falls Christmas (2021, with Samora Smallwood and Joy Castro) and the drama thriller film Swindler Seduction (2022, with Daniel Jun and Nck Name). In 2023, he co-starred in the Canadian family comedy series Popularity Papers, in which Chris River and Shazdeh Kapadia appeared in guest roles.
