A 32nd century Medical Drone
The medical drone was a type of flying drone used for medical care aboard ships in the late 32nd century.
In 3188, responding to Adira's calls for help, two of these drones came to assess the medical condition of Gray Tal. Gray had been fatally injured when their ship collided with an asteroid. After scanning Gray, one of the drones informed them that his life signs were failing and that he would not survive treatment protocols. Additionally, the drone informed them that the symbiont appeared to be in a stable condition and could be saved if implanted into a suitable host. After Adira agreed to be a host, the drone informed her to prepare for a transfer. (DIS: "Forget Me Not")
