Mark Wendell is a visual effects animator who worked for Santa Barbara Studios on episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager and on Star Trek Generations and Star Trek: Insurrection.

Other credits for Santa Barbara Studios include the short documentary Destiny in Space (1994, with Alan G. Markowitz, Eric Guaglione, and narrated by Leonard Nimoy), 500 Nations (1995), Marvin the Martian in the Third Dimension (1996, with Michael Backauskas and Eric Guaglione), Cosmic Voyage (1996, with John Grower, Eric Guaglione, Alan G.
