The Qugh class was a type of destroyer used by the Klingon Empire during the mid-23rd century.
History[]
Several vessels of this class fought in the Federation-Klingon War of 2256-57, starting with the Battle of the Binary Stars in 2256. Later that year, a destroyer was part of a fleet that ambushed the USS Gagarin. Despite intervention by the USS Discovery, the Klingons were successful in destroying the Gagarin. As the war dragged into 2257, a Qugh-class vessel was part of the armada that gathered to attack Earth, however it disengaged when it received word that the war was over. (DIS: "Will You Take My Hand?")
