Kathleen Nicholson Graham (8 June 1927 – 30 August 2012; age 85) was a highland bagpipe performer who performed the tune "Amazing Grace" heard during Spock's funeral scene in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. She received no credit for her contribution.
Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Graham was the daughter of Pipe Major Malcolm Nicholson and continued his father's legacy. She founded Nicholson Pipes and Drums, a nonprofit music organization in Westminster, California, in 1981.
During the 1980s she was referred by her own students to an audition at Paramount Studios for a track in a movie. She was ultimately selected to perform the tune in The Wrath of Khan.
Nicholson Graham passed away on 30 August 2012.
