Julie Benson (born 24 August 1977; age 46) is a writer and producer who worked as staff writer on the first season of Star Trek: Prodigy, along with her sister and writing partner, Shawna Benson.

In 2014, the Benson sisters worked as staff writers on and wrote seven episodes of the comedy series Emma Approved. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as writers, story editors, and executive story editors on the sci-fi drama series The 100.

In 2019, they served as co-producers and staff writers on the fantasy action series Wu Assassins (with Tzi Ma), and in 2022, they wrote an episode of the animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (with Kimberly Brooks, Grey Griffin, Tom Kenny, Wallace Shawn, and Fred Tatasciore). They also wrote various titles for DC Comics.
