James "Jim" N. Gianopulos (born 28 March 1952; age 72) is an American businessman and former chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures until he was oustered in September 2021.

A second-generation Greek American, Gianopulos was born in New York City. He was educated at Boston University, New York University and Fordham University. Gianopulos is married to Ann and has three daughters, Alexa, Nikki and Mimi.

Gianopulos has worked in the entertainment industry for over thirty years, starting out as a lawyer. He held senior positions at Columbia Pictures and 20th Century Fox before becoming CEO of Paramount Pictures in 2017, succeeding Brad Grey. [1]
