DaiMon Igel was a Ferengi investor.
In 2373, Igel sent a petition to Grand Nagus Zek seeking advice on whether he should sell his duranium interests on the open market or the Ferengi Futures Exchange. Zek incorrectly calculated a gain of eighteen points (it was in fact seventeen), further leading Quark to recognize that the memory of the Grand Nagus was beginning to fail. (DS9: "Ferengi Love Songs")
This Ferengi was only mentioned in dialogue.
"Igel" is the German word for "hedgehog".
Igel appears in the novel Takedown.
