Harold Arlen (15 February 1905 – 23 April 1986; age 81) was a prolific American composer of popular music during the early to mid-20th century, including a number of compositions used in various Star Trek incarnations such as "That Old Black Magic" (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, VOY: "The Killing Game", "Virtuoso"), "I've Got the World on a String" and "It's Only a Paper Moon" (both DS9: "It's Only a Paper Moon"), and "Stormy Weather" (DIS: "Stormy Weather"); he was only credited for his composition appearing in The Search for Spock.
